Q&A
Information for skeptics & other curious people.
Until about 30 years ago, I would have assumed anyone claiming to have psychic or spiritual gifts was not trustworthy — at worst, a scam artist trying to take advantage of vulnerable people, at best, an entertainer with the ability to deceive or delight like a magician.
What changed?
After a college classmate was killed in an accident, I had a vivid dream about her that I still recall more than 30 years later. When inexplicable phenomenon happened, from something spontaneously falling off my desk as I was speaking about my deceased father, to narrowly avoiding a catastrophic accident because my car suddenly lost power (though I’d later learn there was no mechanical cause), I started to wonder if there might be something else going on in a realm I couldn’t see.
I had a profound reading with a medium who shared things about my life that no one knew. But it wasn’t until I channeled a message from my late father in law on my husband’s birthday a few months later, sharing words in a language I didn’t speak and memories of vacations I’d never taken, that I began to acknowledge my atypical sensitivity.
Out of fear of being judged, I only shared energetic communications with people who felt safe to me, but I couldn’t get past how healing these messages were for them or how honored I felt to be the messenger. On a whim I decided to book a session with a medium to ask for specific guidance on what to do next. Minutes into the session, he said, “Your father telling me he’s here to validate your psychic gifts.” That day, I began training in earnest and have since worked with mentors both 1:1 and through the Arthur Findlay College in the UK.
Why animals?
I’ve always felt a deep connection and camaraderie with animals and naturally understood what they were saying. I love using my voice to help pets problem solve with their people. Unfortunately, I am not able to help find lost pets.
Is this real?
Yes. If you want to learn more about animal communication, I encourage checking out the scientific research done by Dr. Rupert Sheldrake in his book Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home.
